Vacation!!!

A few things have happened since the last post....

Tyson left to serve a mission for our church in Bilbao, Spain. He's now at the Provo MTC until September 2nd, and will then be transferred to the Madrid, Spain MTC for a few more weeks before being sent out into the field.

We were finally able to take a little vacation before the crazy school schedules begin once again. We went to Vegas and CA and had a lot of fun. We were able to see a lot of family from both sides which was really nice.

Unfortunately, Ross' grandma passed away recently, so we also attended a very nice service for her. She was definitely loved by many.

Ross' Accomplishment

For the past 2 1/2 years, Ross has been working VERY hard to get into the BYU Marriott School (one of the top business schools in the nation). Well, last week we found out he has been accepted! He will major in Business Management (emphasis in marketing) and will graduate in Dec '09. We are really excited about this blessing, and it's great to see that all his hard work has paid off!

Ross' LDS mission president was released a couple weeks ago (after serving in Mexico for 3 years with his wife and family), so a small reunion was held tonight with the Castillos and other returned missionaries from the Mexico City North mission.

We had a BBQ with some friends (Matt & Michelle) last night, and Logan especially enjoyed the pool. Definitely a water baby!

Life is Full of Surprises

So about 2 months ago, Ross started an unpaid internship with ABC. Then, last week, BOTH of his bosses left the company without mentioning a word to him! Ross had been wondering if he should continue spending so much money on gas for the internship, so I guess he got his answer. :-)
