Park with Dad
Today was such a beautiful day, the boys and I decided to go to the park. Ross came home as we were getting ready to leave and decided to take some time out of his afternoon to come with us. His job is quite demanding for the most part, so it was nice to spend some quality time together as a family. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we had a blast.
Easter - Part 2
We had a lot of fun dying Easter eggs Saturday night. At first, Keadon didn't want anything to do with the process. However, once he figured out what was going on, he wouldn't stop! Any egg he touched was dipped in most, if not all, the colors. :-) It was fun to see him and Logan having such a good time.
Easter morning was a different experience, unfortunately. Neither one of the kids cared even the slightest bit about their baskets until awhile later. In fact, Logan even got mad about a couple of the items in both his and Keadon's baskets! haha. They did have fun finding the eggs though, so we at least saw some smiles for a few minutes. (I had a couple more pictures, but I couldn't get them to upload to the blog...)

Easter - Part 1
The Friday before Easter, my friend put together an Easter egg hunt at the park near her house. We each brought a dozen eggs per kid (and each child was supposed to find no more than 12), but somehow Logan, Keadon, and a few other kids only ended up with 5-8 eggs. :-) It was still a lot of fun, and I'm glad we have so many great people in our ward!

We're Back
Has it been long enough since the last post? :-) Needless to say, life has been CRAZY since we moved. Ross' job is great, but it has required a ton of traveling on his part, leaving me with little spare time. His travel schedule has slowed down a bit, which is great, so I'm trying (unsuccessfully at times) to get things back in order.
A few things we love about our new home (area and house):
1. We are just minutes away from pretty much everything.
2. There is a great park within walking distance from our house.
3. No snow!
4. Our ward. Many people have been very welcoming.
5. There will be plenty of Farmers Markets to visit within the next few weeks.
6. We were forced to buy a new couch. :-)
7. We are finally in a single family home.
8. Quiet neighborhood.
9. It takes less time to get to church than it did when we live in Utah.
10. Discount movie theater!
The Kiddos:
Logan
Had his 4th birthday last month.
Is currently taking swimming lessons and a hip hop dance class for tots. He's doing great in both, and I love how he isn't afraid to try new things. My hope is to expose him to as many different activities as possible over the next few years so he'll really know what he likes/doesn't like when it comes time to decide what he's going to pursue long-term.
He has gotten into this phase where he randomly tells me I look "gorgeous." Talk about a confidence booster! haha. I don't know how long this stage will last, but I'll take it for as long as I can get it.
Every time Keadon cries, Logan finds some way to cheer him up. They are the best brothers, and I know their bond is eternal.
Logan has developed a really special faith in his Heavenly Father. I constantly hear him praying, whether it's expressing gratitude, asking his Father in Heaven to help find something he or someone else is searching for, asking for comfort, etc., that kid is on his knees multiple times throughout the day. Children are such wonderful examples.
He and Keadon pick flowers for me (and by flowers, I mean dandelions) daily and we now have a designated water cup so they can "stay bloomed."
Keadon
Is our climber! He is ALWAYS climbing on something. He's still our little shrimp, but that doesn't stop him. He scoots chairs, boxes, stools, or anything else he thinks will work to help him climb up onto whatever he wants. The kid definitely keeps me busy!
His vocabulary is quite extensive now, and every day he says words I didn't know he knew. (For example, yesterday I was getting ready to steam my veggies, when he pointed to them and said "green beans.")
He LOVES his daddy! You should see how excited he gets whenever Ross comes home. He's always wearing the biggest grin, and usually jumps up and down while laughing. Too cute!
Whenever Logan's upset, Keadon goes and finds Logan's bear and giraffe (or another stuffed animal) and brings it to him. It's sweet to see how sensitive he is even though he's so young.
When someone coughs, Kead asks "okay?" If you don't answer, he'll repeat himself until you do. :-)
Kneels and folds his arms when he hears someone praying at home. So cute!
We feel very grateful to have such a wonderful family and job, and while life still has its challenges, we know we are very blessed.
Below are a couple videos of the kids I took a little while ago (mostly for our own records, so some parts might seem a little slow). They grow so fast!

Goodbye Snow! (Well, mostly)
For those who haven't heard, WE'RE MOVING! Ross was offered a promotion this week and gladly accepted. We'll be gone in 2 weeks, which is faster than we were expecting, but it will work out. Things will just be a bit stressful around here until then. :-)
It's exciting to be moving on to the next stage in life and in Ross' career, but it's also scary because we've only lived in one state the entire time we've been married. We're excited to tackle the new challenges though, and we look forward to all the blessings this new path will provide!

Friends for the Boys
I had the opportunity to watch our friends' kids for a little while today, and everyone had a blast. We haven't gotten out much this winter thanks to all the sicknesses going around, so I think Logan and Keadon were extra happy to have some company.
| The boys had tons of fun making "hamburgers" for each other. |
| Mary took great care of Keadon while he wasn't feeling well! |

Our Weekend
Our good friends invited us to attend their son's baby blessing yesterday. It was such a sweet moment for all of us, but especially for them. I remember the wonderful peace, reassurance, and overwhelming feelings of love the Spirit brings as your child is being blessed, and I am glad our friends were able to have a similar experience of their own. It was great to see them in their new roles as Mom and Dad, and I am thankful they allowed us to share a bit of their joy.
