For those who haven't heard, WE'RE MOVING! Ross was offered a promotion this week and gladly accepted. We'll be gone in 2 weeks, which is faster than we were expecting, but it will work out. Things will just be a bit stressful around here until then. :-)
It's exciting to be moving on to the next stage in life and in Ross' career, but it's also scary because we've only lived in one state the entire time we've been married. We're excited to tackle the new challenges though, and we look forward to all the blessings this new path will provide!

Friends for the Boys
I had the opportunity to watch our friends' kids for a little while today, and everyone had a blast. We haven't gotten out much this winter thanks to all the sicknesses going around, so I think Logan and Keadon were extra happy to have some company.

Our Weekend
Our good friends invited us to attend their son's baby blessing yesterday. It was such a sweet moment for all of us, but especially for them. I remember the wonderful peace, reassurance, and overwhelming feelings of love the Spirit brings as your child is being blessed, and I am glad our friends were able to have a similar experience of their own. It was great to see them in their new roles as Mom and Dad, and I am thankful they allowed us to share a bit of their joy.

Back on Track (Hopefully)
Originally, Ross wasn't supposed to have any time off around Christmas. However, a mix-up with his vacation time earlier in the year led to his boss giving him permission to take a couple days off. (The Monday after Christmas was the official holiday for the company, so Ross took of Tuesday and Wednesday.) We drove down the afternoon of Christmas Eve, and came back the following Wednesday. It was a short trip, and although we didn't get to visit many of our friends, it was really fun!
